Trainee Ruminant Technical Specialist

As part of our ambitious growth strategy there is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee Ruminant Technical Specialist at our Omagh Mill.
The Role:
Reporting to the Technical Support Manager the Trainee Ruminant Technical Specialist will be responsible to provide technical advice and support to customers on ruminant nutrition, diet formulation and feeding practice to maximise milk production and live weight gain.
The Person:
- Possess sound knowledge of the Northern Ireland agricultural industry;
- Experience in Customer Support;
- Be IT literate;
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills;
- Have the ability to work on your own initiative and within a busy team;
- Show attention to detail and able to prioritise a busy workload;
- Have a full current driving licence valid in the UK;
- A third level qualification in an agricultural related discipline is desirable, 2023 Graduates welcome;
- Possessing a sound knowledge and experience of ruminant production and nutrition and;
- Good practical dairy cow and cattle livestock skills as well as a full knowledge of the major drivers affecting the dairy, beef and sheep industries would be an advantage.
