Technical Sales Specialist

Drummonds is seeking a proactive Technical Sales Specialist to support sales growth and provide on-farm technical advice across the Dromone area. This role involves working closely with farmers, promoting our full range of agri products, and supporting the development of the Dromone branch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow sales and market share across your territory.
  • Conduct regular farm visits and provide technical support on feed nutrition, fertiliser, soil and grassland management and forage production.
  • Promote Drummonds’ full product range including feed, fertiliser, grass seed, agri-retail goods, chemicals, hardware and livestock equipment.
  • Manage customer accounts, ensuring timely payments and adherence to credit terms.
  • Support branch operations and assist during busy seasonal periods.
  • Represent Drummonds at events and participate in ongoing training.

The Person:

  • Hold a third level qualification in an agricultural related discipline.
  • Strong technical knowledge in agriculture.
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
  • Commercial awareness and confidence managing accounts.
  • Self-motivated with good planning and organisation.
  • Full clean driving licence.
