Job Details:
Technical Plant Operator

The Technical Plant Operator will be responsible for the efficient running of the Wastewater Treatment Plant and external service areas along with providing support to the maintenance department as required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and run the Wastewater Treatment Plant on a daily basis;
- Work with the Maintenance Department, when necessary, to ensure any issues with Wastewater Treatment Plant are dealt with in a timely manner;
- Machinery and equipment safety checks as necessary;
- Maintaining appropriate records for Department;
- Maintain stock levels and dosing systems of chemicals on site;
- Work with Maintenance Team Leader to meet the Department goals your agreed KPI’s.
The Person:
- Previous working experience of PLC control screens;
- A working knowledge of chemical use and storage;
- Working knowledge of health and safety procedures;
- Good mechanical knowledge;
- A minimum of one years experience within a Production Environment.
Preference will be given to those with:
- Hold a valid forklift licence;
- Hold a valid MEWP licence;
- Experience of working within a Maintenance Department.
Normal working pattern is Monday to Friday 10.00am to 6.30pm.
