Ruminant Sales Specialists
Ref No: FVF/RFSS/01/23
Reporting to the Sales Director, the Ruminant Feed Sales Specialists will be responsible for maximising existing business and developing new business in the sales areas.
The Role:
- To deliver ambitious growth strategies across the sales area to increase feed sales to new and existing customers;
- Provide customers with technical advice and support on ruminant nutrition, diet formulation and feeding practice to maximise milk production and live weight gain;
- Increase feed sales and market share within the sales territory and maximise new business development opportunities;
- Liaise with sales and technical team to assist in the development of a product range to best suit the feeding requirements of customers within the territory;
- Understanding farmer’s needs and introducing suitable products and services.
The Person:
- Possess sound knowledge of and an interest in the Northern Ireland agri food industry;
- Previous relevant sales experience;
- Demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- Be IT literate;
- Have the ability to work on your own initiative and within a busy team;
- Show attention to detail and able to prioritise a busy workload;
- Have a Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent;
- Ideally hold a 3rd level qualification in agriculture or a related discipline;
- Ideally have a sound knowledge and experience of ruminant production and nutrition.
