Job Details:
Quality Assurance Technician (one-year student placement)
Ref No: FVF/QT/01/25
We now invite applications for a one-year student placement based at our Omagh Mill.
The Role:
- Monitoring the quality of raw materials and finished feeds during the manufacturing process including durability and hardness testing and grist analysis;
- Carrying out hygiene audits including mill, HGV and glass inspection audits including preparing the associated reports;
- Assisting with operator training in relation to feed safety and quality;
- Assisting with the ongoing review and implementation of quality control procedures;
- Monitoring labelling information and carrying out checks to ensure formulations are updated and that label information remains current.
The Person:
- Show attention to detail and be able to prioritise a busy workload;
- Have the ability to work on their own initiative and within a busy team;
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills;
- Be IT literate;
- Ideally have an interest in farming and the agri-food sector.
