Purchase Ledger Assistant
Ref No: FVS/PLA/03/25
We are currently recruiting for a part time (approximately 15 – 20 hours per week) Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our team at our Head Office in Moira.
Reporting to the Company Accountant the Purchase Ledger Assistant will primarily work within the Purchase Ledger as well as providing administrative assistance within the finance team.
The Role:
- Checking and processing supplier invoices;
- Preparing supplier payments as required;
- Reconciling supplier statements;
- Resolving supplier related queries;
- Provide support for other financial duties as delegated by the Company Accountant.
The Person:
- Must have previous experience of working within a financial or administration department;
- Good working knowledge of MS packages with competency in Excel;
- Experience of using accounting software;
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a busy team;
- Be able to prioritise and meet deadlines;
- Be naturally curious, with a focus on resolving queries;
- A great communicator, able to build relationships.
