Production Planner

Location: Tandragee

The Production Planner will be responsible for planning and scheduling of Production in accordance with demand forecast and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpretation of sales forecast and monitoring of stock movements;
  • Develop and implement efficient production schedules to meet customer demand and optimise resource utilisation;
  • Monitor and analyse production performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions;
  • Collaborate closely with the commercial and operations teams to ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery of products;
  • Manage stock levels to balance supply and demand;
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Purchasing materials to meet forecasted demand;
  • Management of supplier’s performance.

The Person:

  • Experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and to be flexible to accommodate the demands of a growing business and a small management team;
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operations;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • Experience of using an ERP system, would be ideal, but not essential.
