Job Details:
Production Operator (Dayshift)

The successful candidate will carry out a variety of production and cleaning jobs within the manufacturing facility including machine operation, product packing, machine cleaning and cleaning duties across the wider facility.
The Role:
- Operating automated machinery, using SOP’s (training provided);
- Monitoring production process and recording results in a quality monitoring system (Foods Connected) to ensure compliance;
- Closely monitor production quality and adjusting equipment settings to ensure compliance;
- Carry out a line change over when instructed to do so by the production team leader;
- Ensure quick preparation for production and secure all required materials to aid the line’s quick start;
- Maintain lineside stocks through accurate use of shopfloor control system;
- Flexible and adaptable to help teams across different parts of the process;
- Ensuring good audit ready standards at all times;
- Contribution to production performance and quality targets to deliver high-quality products;
- Forklift licence (training given).

Essential Criteria:
- Previous production experience in a high-volume food processing environment;
- Ability to work on own initiative with limited supervision;
- Have a high standard of spoken and written English.
Desirable Criteria:
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate;
- Working knowledge of health and safety legislation;
- Lean manufacturing experience;
- Reach truck/counterbalance forklift licence.
Normal working pattern is weekdays 8am-4.30pm
