Job Details:
Production Operative
Ref No: HM/PO/01/24
The Production Operative will assist with the production and processing of product within the factory and assist in the smooth running of the production line.
The Production Operative will be involved a variety of production jobs, which will include butchery, packing, loading and despatch.
Responsibilities:
- To work at various stations within Production as directed by Line Supervisors;
- To assist with the unloading of raw material from containers;
- Strip supply of raw material as and when instructed;
- Assist Hygiene/Intake/Despatch Departments as and when required.
Candidate Requirements:
- Have previous experience in a food processing environment;
- The ability to work with minimum supervision and as part of a team;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Previous experience in an offal processing environment;
- A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate;
- A forklift licence.
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday four hours per day. Start times will be between 8.00am and 9.30am and will be agreed with the successful candidate.

Hilton Meat Products Ltd is the largest importer of New Zealand and Australian offals and have dealt with most of the major meat plants in the UK and Ireland. The team at Hilton have achieved the highest award of Grade A under the BRC standard (version 6) and have also achieved ABM and BQAP approval.
