Production Manager

We now wish to appoint a highly motivated Production Manager to take responsibility for the management of all operations and production at Duncrue Food Processors and ensure high standards are maintained in plant performance, product quality, overall efficiency and staff management.
The Person:
- Have 3 years’ previous management / operations experience in a manufacturing environment;
- The ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders;
- Experience of overseeing the in Intake and/or Despatch function, preferably in a manufacturing environment;
- Hold a 3rd Level Qualification in Business, Operation Management or similar;
- Previous experience of BRC audits;
- Experience managing supervisors and operational staff;
- The ability to control costs, and apply to budget;
- High attention to detail and accurate record keeping;
- Excellent IT skills with proficiency in the use of Microsoft products.
Preference will be given to those with:
- Train the Trainer qualification;
- HACCP Level 3;
- Have a Food Qualification or being willing to undertake necessary training;
- Previous transport planning experience;
- NEBOSH Qualification.
