Job Details:
Poultry Field Officer
Ref No: FVF/PFO/07/23
Based in Omagh and reporting to the Poultry Business Manager, the Poultry Field Officer will be responsible for the daily management of pullet rearing sites throughout Northern Ireland, audit preparation and environmental swabbing. They will provide nutritional advice and advice on Fane Valley Feeds product portfolio to new and existing customers.
The Person:
- Ideally have a HND qualification in agricultural or animal science (or equivalent);
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills;
- Be IT literate;
- Have the ability to work on their own initiative and within a busy team;
- Show attention to detail and be able to prioritise a busy workload;
- Have a Full Clean UK Driving Licence;
- Preferably have previous experience of liaison with farmers;
- Ideally possess a sound knowledge of modern poultry production.
