Plant Operator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Plant Operator to join our team at our Newry mill.
The Role:
The Plant Operator will be responsible for operating a computerised manufacturing process, supervising intake, maintaining mill hygiene standards, and operating a forklift.
Essential Criteria:
All applicants are expected to have a good standard of education, with GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English. Candidates must have good I.T. skills and be comfortable using a computer.
Desirable Criteria:
Ideally applicants will have previous experience of working in a production environment, have an agricultural background and have a forklift licence, although this is not essential as training will be provided.
Hours of work:
The hours of work will be based on a two-shift rotating pattern with a day shift from 6.00am to 2.00pm and an evening shift from 2.00pm to 10.00pm. Flexibility is also required to work Saturday morning overtime when necessary.
