Office Administrator (Part-Time)

Location: Londonderry/Derry

We are currently recruiting for the following permanent, part-time position (3 days per week).

The Role:

  • Finance duties for ship owners including creation of proforma and final disbursement accounts;
  • Administration duties for ship owners including liaising with various internal staff and external agencies to arrange services for vessels in port;
  • Creation of invoices for port agency services;
  • Liaising with port authority regarding payment of ship owners accounts;
  • Provide support for other financial duties delegated by Company Accountant, including month end preparation;
  • General office administration.

The Person:

  • 1-2 years previous relevant experience of working within a finance role in an office environment;
  • Have strong IT skills with experience in Microsoft Office applications, in particular MS Excel and Word;
  • Motivated and be able to work on own initiative;
  • Effective communication skills;
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with ability to prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines;
  • Ideally have experience of operating Sage 50 Accounts or other computerised accounting software.
