Maintenance Fitter

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Fitter to join our small, dedicated and highly skilled team of maintenance engineers at our Omagh mill.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be involved in providing preventative maintenance and process improvements of automated machinery to maximise production efficiency, assist with ongoing upgrades of the plant and maintaining mill hygiene standards.
The Person:
- At least two years previous experience gained post qualification and must be a time served fitter;
- An engineering or mechanical qualification or equivalent;
- The ability to undertake complex mechanical tasks including welding and fabrication;
- Knowledge and working experience of pneumatic and hydraulic systems;
- Have good IT skills;
- Good awareness of health & safety in a maintenance environment;
- Experience using a computerised Maintenance Management System is desirable as well as experience in a fast-moving production environment.
Candidates should be self-motivated with excellent communication, organisational and team working skills.
The hours of work are an 8-hour rotating shift pattern which rotates weekly and Saturday morning overtime is often available. Day shift is 8.00am to 4.00pm, evening shift is 4.00pm to midnight and night shift is midnight to 8.00am.
