Maintenance Fitter

We now have an exciting opportunity for a maintenance fitter to join our maintenance team to support the upkeep and maintenance of plant and equipment across our branch network.

The Role:
The successful candidate will be involved in providing preventative maintenance and process improvements of automated machinery to maximise production efficiency, assist with ongoing upgrades and development projects of plant and equipment across the Drummonds business.

The Person:
• At least two years previous experience gained post qualification and must be a time served fitter;
• The ability to undertake complex mechanical tasks including welding and fabrication;
• Knowledge and working experience of pneumatic and hydraulic systems;
• Ideally have a knowledge of working with grain handling and drying equipment;
• Have good IT skills;
• Good awareness of health & safety in a maintenance environment;
• Experience using a computerised Maintenance Management System is desirable as well as experience in a fast-moving production environment.
