Lorry Driver

Location: Belfast
Closing Date: 5th January 2024

We now wish to recruit for a highly motivated Lorry Driver to collect and deliver raw material/finished goods to meat plants and various locations in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland in a reliable courteous manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily raw materials collection sheet;
  • Complete daily vehicle safety inspection sheet;
  • Complete required vehicle cleaning records;
  • Keep all documentation in a presentable manner and return signed to office as required;
  • Forklift driving as well as loading and unloading of lorries;
  • Ensure communication with site supervisors / production manager to ensure efficiency of our goods and services.

The Person:

  • Full and current UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 licence;
  • A minimum of one years experience driving artic lorries;
  • A customer focused attitude;
  • Valid CPC card;
  • Experience of using digital tachograph card.

Preference will be given to those with:

  • A Counterbalance Forklift licence;
  • Excellent geographical knowledge.
