Job Details:
Lorry Driver
Ref No: DFP/LD/12/23
We now wish to recruit for a highly motivated Lorry Driver to collect and deliver raw material/finished goods to meat plants and various locations in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland in a reliable courteous manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete daily raw materials collection sheet;
- Complete daily vehicle safety inspection sheet;
- Complete required vehicle cleaning records;
- Keep all documentation in a presentable manner and return signed to office as required;
- Forklift driving as well as loading and unloading of lorries;
- Ensure communication with site supervisors / production manager to ensure efficiency of our goods and services.
The Person:
- Full and current UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 licence;
- A minimum of one years experience driving artic lorries;
- A customer focused attitude;
- Valid CPC card;
- Experience of using digital tachograph card.
Preference will be given to those with:
- A Counterbalance Forklift licence;
- Excellent geographical knowledge.
