HGV Lorry Driver (Temporary Position)

We wish to recruit for a flexible HGV Driver to work on a temporary basis from our Headquarters in Moira.

Fane Valley Stores is a leading supplier of animal health and agricultural products to farmers and the rural community. With an expanding network of agri-retail stores and a strong on-line platform, our aim is to exceed the expectations of our customers.

 The Role: 

The HGV Driver will be responsible for providing a high-quality delivery service to Fane Valley Customers and the Store network, ensuring all orders are delivered in good condition, accurately, safely and on time. The successful candidate will be a team player with a flexible approach to work. 

The Person: 

• A minimum of two years lorry driving experience; with multi drop experience across Northern Ireland; 

• Hold a valid HGV Class C + E driving licence; 

• Be fully CPC compliant; 

• Have customer care experience; 

• Demonstrate good communication skills; 

• Ideally have experience of dealing with agricultural goods and on farm delivery experience. 

Normal working pattern is Monday to Friday with flexibility to work weekends if required. Starting times vary depending on the route deliveries and will involve early morning starts.
