HGV Lorry Driver

We now invite applications for the following permanent full time position based from our Head Quarters in Moira.
Fane Valley Stores is the largest retail distributor of agricultural products in Northern Ireland, with a modern centralised distribution centre in Moira to service our retail stores and customer deliveries across the province.
The Role:
The HGV Driver will be responsible for providing a high quality delivery service to Fane Valley Customers and the Store network, ensuring all orders are delivered in good condition, accurately and on time, so that customers receive excellent customer service.
The Person:
• Must have a minimum of two years lorry driving experience; with at least six months multi drop experience in Northern Ireland and border counties;
• Have an HGV Class 1 driving licence;
• Have a Counter Balance Forklift licence;
• Be fully CPC compliant;
• Previous customer care experience;
• Ideally have a Mounty Forklift licence, Telehandler licence and Quad Bike training;
• Ideally have experience of dealing with agricultural goods, on farm delivery experience and a working knowledge of stock control measures.
All applicants must have flexibility, as there will be a requirement to drive Class 1 and 2 vehicles, vans and assist with providing a soil sampling service when required. You will also have the ability to work as part of a team, complete accurate documentation and have a clean and tidy appearance.
