Job Details:
General Operative
Ref No: FVF/GO/08/22
The General Operative will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the plant, equipment, facilities and yard area. The successful candidate will also be required to perform general yard duties such as unloading goods inwards, assisting customers with collections and ensuring the warehouse is organised and tidy.
The Person:
• Be self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to work on own initiative;
• Be able to demonstrate good organisational skills;
• Have an awareness of health and safety procedures;
• Have the ability to follow documented schedules and instructions;
• Ideally have previous relevant experience;
• Ideally have a forklift licence but not essential as training will be provided.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm. Flexibility is also required to work Saturday morning overtime when necessary.
