Credit Controller

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Credit Controller at our Ballindrait Mill.

The Role:

  • Set and monitor credit limits;
  • Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner;
  • Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales;
  • Ensure that all transactions are compliant with SARs and HMRC regulations;
  • Handle disputed bills and negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms;
  • Report all significant debtors who become slow in paying to senior management on a timely basis;
  • Provide accurate advice on billing queries.

The Person:

  • Ideally have previous experience of working in a Credit Control environment dealing with a high volume of customers;
  • Have the ability to work in a fast-moving environment;
  • Have strong IT skills with experience in Microsoft Office applications;
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work on own initiative and within a busy team;
  • A knowledge of the agricultural industry would be an advantage.

The successful candidate should be reliable, efficient, motivated and be able to work as part of a team.  Candidates should have a good standard of education, the ability to complete accurate documentation and good communication skills.
