Credit Control Manager

Reporting directly to the Group Agri Financial Controller the Credit Control Manager will work closely with the Senior Management team across the business, to ensure the company’s Credit Control Policy is implemented in full.

The Role:
The Credit Control Manager will manage and motivate a team of Credit Controllers. Duties will include reviewing and setting credit limits and payment terms for customers, ensuring the timely completion of month end close of sales ledgers and producing reports for the management team. You will oversee debt payment agreements and where required initiate legal proceedings and liaise with third parties as well as supporting with the annual financial audit process.

The Person:

  • At least 5 years working as a Credit Control Manager/Supervisor in a fastpaced office environment;
  • A third level qualification in a related discipline;
  • Computer literate, experience in Microsoft Office and finance systems;
  • Excellent communication skills with experience of working in a team environment;
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills and strong attention to detail;
  • A full or part qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management is desirable;
  • Knowledge of the Agri Food Industry would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be required to travel between our company sites for management meetings therefore a driving licence and use of a car is essential.
