Job Details:
Business Systems Analyst

We wish to appoint a Business Systems Analyst who will be responsible for the analysis, design and implementation of business systems solution which will generate business improvements and contribute to competitive advantage for the Group. The successful candidate will be based at our Head Office in Moira and will be required to travel to our other sites in Northern Ireland, Donegal and Monaghan.
Fane Valley Co-op has interests in animal feed manufacturing, agricultural supplies and the provision of specialist on-farm technical support services, fully integrated duck production & processing, porridge oats & breakfast cereal and the added value processing of edible offals, fats and proteins.
The Role:
• Provide IT solutions across the Fane Valley Group while helping to improve the performance and productivity of existing systems and business processes;
• Undertake analysis and systems development work including but not limited to analysis, design and systems development;
• Understanding and matching user requirements, implementing, support and maintenance related to existing and new systems, processes and procedures;
• Communicate with the business on a project-by-project basis;
• Develop change request documents and support training and implementation.
The Person:
• A third level qualification in a related discipline;
• A minimum of 2 years experience in an ERP or equivalent large business systems environment;
• Able to build good working relationships with key business process owners and have experience dealing with internal customers at all business levels;
• Show attention to detail and be a natural problem solver who can offer potential business solutions that can deliver benefits to the business;
• Have a knowledge of industry standards relating to both hardware and software solutions;
• Previous experience of SQL, IQ or any trade/retail systems, Microsoft AX or NAV would be advantageous but not required;
• Ability to self-motivate and work on their own initiative within a dynamic working environment;
• Excellent analytical skills and a strong eye for detail;
• A driving license and access to their own transport.
