Accounts Assistant

Location: Clonee
Closing Date: 8th August 2025

We now wish to appoint an Accounts Assistant to join the team based at our Clonee site.

The Role:

  • Processing of supplier invoices and preparation of month end statement reconciliations;
  • Importing supplier invoices to digital document storage platform and indexing such digital documents;
  • Liaising with other Departments to follow up on any discrepancies between receipted quantities and supplier invoiced quantities;
  • Assisting with the review of supplier price lists – Ensure that supplier pricelists, within the Company’s ERP package, are maintained up to date;
  • Daily Bank Reconciliations using Company’s ERP;
  • Assist with the importing of stocktakes and preparation of variance reports to be issued to other Departments;
  • General Accounting Administration;
  • Other Ad hoc duties to be performed as and when required.

The Person:

  • Excellent attention to detail, with an ability to use own initiative and vocalise improvements to processes if same are identified;
  • Ability to work well under pressure;
  • A self-starter who can critically analyse information and ensure work is completed to set deadlines;
  • A team player with an ability to work with colleagues from different Departments / Branches;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong excel skills desirable;
  • Ideally have previous relevant experience of working within a financial administration department;
  • Experience of using an ERP system would be an advantage.
