Job Details:
Accounting Technician
Ref No: FVF/AT/03/23
Reporting to the Company Accountant the Accounting Technician will be responsible for providing financial and administrative assistance for all areas of finance.
The Role:
- Processing and analysing financial data;
- Preparing General ledger reconciliations;
- Posting monthly journals;
- Preparing statistical reports for government departments;
- Assist in the preparation of the year end audit;
- Completion of monthly EC Sales Lists & Intrastat;
- Provide backup support for all duties covered by the finance department.
The Person:
- Must have at least 2 years’ experience of working within a financial administration department;
- Have strong IT skills with experience in Microsoft Office applications in particular Microsoft excel;
- Have experience of operating computerised accounting software;
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a busy team;
- Will ideally be qualified to Accounting Technician level or equivalent.
