Accounting Technician

Location: Omagh Mill
Closing Date: 11th April 2023

Reporting to the Company Accountant the Accounting Technician will be responsible for providing financial and administrative assistance for all areas of finance.

The Role:

  • Processing and analysing financial data;
  • Preparing General ledger reconciliations;
  • Posting monthly journals;
  • Preparing statistical reports for government departments;
  • Assist in the preparation of the year end audit;
  • Completion of monthly EC Sales Lists & Intrastat;
  • Provide backup support for all duties covered by the finance department.

The Person:

  • Must have at least 2 years’ experience of working within a financial administration department;
  • Have strong IT skills with experience in Microsoft Office applications in particular Microsoft excel;
  • Have experience of operating computerised accounting software;
  • Ability to work on own initiative and within a busy team;
  • Will ideally be qualified to Accounting Technician level or equivalent.
