Working as part of the Drummonds Navan team, you’ll be responsible for delivering goods to customer farms, ensuring timely and efficient service. Additionally, you'll manage interbranch stock transfers, helping maintain smooth operations across Drummonds' network.

The Role:

  • Prepare and deliver customer and interbranch orders;
  • Safely complete deliveries and return signed dockets to the relevant branch;
  • Ensure delivery dockets match the physical items and report any shortages or damage;
  • Provide a friendly and professional experience for all customers;
  • Perform timely, safe multi-drop deliveries, driving in accordance with the law;
  • Prepare customer orders for collection and ensure proper stock presentation;
  • Follow stock rotation procedures and maintain store hygiene;
  • Ensure goods are correctly located and report any damaged or unsaleable items;
  • Conduct weekly stock checks and report to the purchasing manager.

The Person:

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a multi-drop van driving role, with a proven track record of reliability and efficiency.
  • Hold a valid, current driving licence;
  • Have a basic education with strong communication skills, enabling effective interactions with customers and team members;
  • IT literate, comfortable using basic technology for order tracking and reporting;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Experienced in daily vehicle and equipment checks, ensuring safety and maintenance standards are always met;
  • Knowledge of Irish agriculture and farm delivery experience is desirable.
