Jonathan Dunn To Head Up Fane Valley's Agronomy & Forage Services Business

Jonathan Dunn from Brookeborough in Co Fermanagh has been appointed by the Fane Valley Group to head up their new Agronomy and Forage Services business, following the acquisition of Morton’s by Fane Valley earlier this year. 

An Agriculture and Economics graduate from the Queens University Belfast, Jonathan has spent the past 12 years with the Morton’s team as a Technical Sales Specialist in the West of the Province, providing technical advice and agronomy support to customers on a range of agronomy, forage and ruminant nutrition products and services.

In his new role, Jonathan will assume responsibility for the Fane Valley Agronomy and Forages Services business with particular emphasis on managing the NI sales and technical team and the strategic development of the Agronomy and Forages Services business.

Speaking on his appointment Jonathan said: “I am looking forward to integrating the Morton’s business into Fane Valley and developing a comprehensive range of products and services which will include seed selection, crop nutrition, crop protection, soil nutrition, forage conservation and forage utilisation.   Our focus as a business will be to develop product offerings and services that will add value for our customers by improving farm efficiency and sustainability while driving profitability as our customers look to meet future challenges.”
