Fane Valley Stores Celebrate A Decade In Livestock Identification
31st October 2017
Fane Valley Stores are proud to celebrate ten years in Livestock Identification since acquiring the Farmrite business back in November 2007. In that time, Fane Valley Stores have become one of the market leaders in Livestock Identification in Northern Ireland using trusted cattle ranges such as Allflex, Caisley and Ritchey and the ever-popular EID Snapp tag for sheep.
Fane Valley Stores is a major retail distributor of animal health and farm supplies with fifteen retail stores servicing the local and rural communities across the province and to celebrate this anniversary all fifteen stores across the store network will be offering a 10% discount off all New Cattle and Replacement Cattle tag orders with free delivery for the month of November.
This past year has also seen the relocation of the Fane Valley Headquarters and logistics centre to Moira, where a new purpose-built tag printing facility is also located. This allows customers to efficiently place their orders by phone, email or web and have them delivered direct to their door or a local Fane Valley Store.
Trevor Lockhart, Fane Valley Chief Executive said, "Northern Ireland’s livestock identification system underpins the provinces’ world renowned animal traceability system. Over the past decade Fane Valley has been at the forefront of fulfilling farmers needs for a broad range of identification products. Continual investment in IT development, staff training, improved instore service and the extension of our “While You Wait” tag service to nine of our fifteen stores reflects our commitment to the local industry. We are committed to offering a full range of quality tags and the most efficient service to our customers to assist them with their day to day farming needs”.
Pat Donnelly, Fane Valley Stores - Livestock Identification Manager remarked, “Over the past decade Fane Valley have made the tag ordering process as simple as possible. Our customers can place an order for tags in any of our fifteen stores while our qualified staff can talk them through any queries they may have. Customers can also call into our Augher, Ballycastle, Ballymena, Claudy, Lisbane, Markethill, Omagh, Portadown or Rathfriland stores and order tags to be printed while they wait”.
Pat added, “We will be running our 10% off tag offer and a number of in-store offers throughout the month of November as well as a competition to win 50 new BVD tags. To find out more ask a member of our store staff or alternatively keep an eye on our Facebook page for further details”.
